The draft is underway!

Click here to go to your war room, or visit the war room item in the draft menu.

This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Yeah, I agree with that line of thinking as well. But is it better to tie yourself down for the remainder of your potential career for the minimum you can be paid than to not play at all? Maybe you'd do it for a single season, or maybe even two, but I don't think it makes sense to do it long term over 5 or 6 years.

Maybe he just wants to play regardless of how large his contract is?
Better than not playing at all.

This is the basis of my logic, if a player is not being offered a big contract then there is obviously not demand for him. I do have on the list to change the evaluation formula so that the 2-year megadeal gets a bit more weight than the 6-year deal with the same total bonus.
