This is a known bug that was supposedly fixed in 0.4.5. It's plainly not fixed.

This one would have been half the distance to the goal, so it would not have been a first down.

It's still a bug.

I might have a rule that says I always go for it on 4th down inside the opponent's 5 yd line and the game would deny me that.
