This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

Running back reaches the first down marker, but fumbles. Offense recovers behind the first down marker. Shouldn't the ball be spotted where the fumble was recovered rather than at the ball carrier's original forward progress?
