Wouldn't a TO be called here?

Down by 3 points and a catch made with the play ending with 2 seconds left. We have one TO left. Why not use it?

i think time just ran out by the time the whistle was blown. To run a play that far downfield the player would have to catch the ball and immediately call time out and the whistle would have to be blown immediately. I'm not sure on mfn if it takes all that into account but in real life a 22 yard pass play would be tough to do and get a time out. I'm curious if there is some kind of delay for a ref to signal timeout on this game. mayb jdb can chime in.

I think he has said before there is, but I think the delay is too long.

If the play is over with 2 seconds left, I feel pretty confident the TO would be given before the clock ran out.

In most cases, the coach would be standing next to a ref ready to call the TO right away.
