The draft is underway!

Click here to go to your war room, or visit the war room item in the draft menu.

This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

How is it that a long snapper is active in the offense? But actually in the depth chart (Hunter) https://dfl.myfootballnow.com/watch/4874#856663

He's well rested. Contrary to some recent posts, the AI will substitute players who aren't in the chart, depending on fatigue, ratings, and experience. If everyone in the chart is fatigued, the AI will select whoever it thinks is the next qualified player. However, if he's inactive, he shouldn't be playing ... unless the number of active players is too low.

Right, makes sense. He is active, but only as a long snapper. Thanks

It's always important to fill out your player weights, even if you think you won't need them. The AI will slide players into your depth chart if it thinks it's too short. Telling us *how* and *why* it does that may be a good suggestion, but it does happen, especially with injuries the way they are now.
