The draft is underway!

Click here to go to your war room, or visit the war room item in the draft menu.

This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

My whole point with this was that it would be great to be able to have rules based on what has actually happened in the game, other than just points.

I'd like a way to trigger doubling a wr if he's gone over 100 yards in a quarter, or Bring the SS to the line if the RB is gashing us.

This is an interesting idea but i suppose it depends on whether we are simulating our place as a GM or a coach. It seems we are actually skirting the border between the two, taking on some functions of each.

A better, smarter coach should react and implement changes more intelligently, while during a game i would suspect a GM should not interfere much more than giving the coach whatever leeway in taking risks to 'win this one'.

In practice, though, i would think that the AI is feeble enough that it shouldn't be given more rules to follow and decisions to make than it already has, and the limit of GP changes probably should be specified beforehand by the human AI, such as it is presently.
