This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

Safety net/measure to prevent CPU from cutting players

From time to time, I will see teams go into negative cap. When this happens, the CPU starts cutting expensive/good players from said team. This is highly unrealistic and really ruins parity in leagues where this happens. When this happens, here really should be a safety measure that prevents owners from offering contracts that will cause them to go into negative cap room. Just now, I was able to offer a max contract to a player that put me into negative cap room. I don't know how they do it in the NFL, but I can't imagine this would be possible.
