The draft is underway!

Click here to go to your war room, or visit the war room item in the draft menu.

This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Silly player rankings

Yes, I'm aware you can and should edit weights, but this is for me something irrelevant to that.

If you do a search of Free Agents for something like a LG then without unduly changing weightings, you get Kickers. Punters. Wide receivers.

It's just for me unrealistic to even expect a kicker or punter to play offensive line.

Based on my weightings ( validity of them up for debate, but... )

Aaron Vega, a Kicker.
Conditioning 14
Position Exp 14
Strength 100
Intelligence 89
Discipline 89
Max Speed 23
Acceleration 83
Run Blocking 25
Pass Blocking 23/25

Now based upon those stats alone I'd predict he'd run like a demented flea, bounce off a DT and get my players killed. What makes it worse for me is...

Weight: 217 (30% below average)

With that weight disadvantage surely whatever player weightings you set, there's no chance in **** he can play O line.

So, my suggestion is that for D and O line where a player is grossly under the average weight, they should never be returned in a search. or at least give a filter option to remove "unrealistic" players for those positions.
