The draft is underway!

Click here to go to your war room, or visit the war room item in the draft menu.

This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Note on the contract details the player cannot be resigned.

i took this from this thread ( https://beta87.myfootballnow.com/community/thread/5/3412?page=1#22833 )

anyway i think that would work for retiring players where the player cant be resigned because they are retiring

it would be kinda when a player is unhappy with you & either wants you to trade him or let him walk in free agency

so why not make it also be true where you try to give a player a contract it says something like player A is retiring so he wont sign a contract with you

Because he will resign with you, take the bonus money and never play a down (if you sign him after your season is over and before the next season).

You're stuck with the dead cap and the player rides off into the sunset with a bigger retirement nest egg.

That's the way it works in MFN. If you think the player might retire, don't offer a contract. That's your only solution.
