This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

wouldn't really work with this game imo, as it currently stands people do not let decent players leave for free agency which is what compensatory picks are based off of.

would it give teams more incentive to let guys go if they knew they would get a pick as compensation? I think it would give the game a more realistic approach to the offseason decisions.

I like the idea, but the economics of the game have some bigger issues that need to be addressed before it's added.

It's overwhelming changes but all very possible. Takes some heavy thinking and maybe some research to figure the exact combinations. But if you can download cvs files in drafts anything is possible
