This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Rookie Contracts

Is MFN designed to mirror the rookie contract guidelines in place in the NFL? If so, it currently does not. By quite a margin. Mid-round picks especially cost considerably more than their NFL counterparts. For most teams in MFN, you can at best expect a career back-up from the late 3rd round on, and paying them multi-million-a-year contracts is a tad rich, in my opinion. So anyhow, I just wanted to inquire as to whether the inflated contracts of draft picks was by design or oversight. Thanks!

Another thing to consider is those mid round picks make quite a bit more than they would if you were redoing their contract.

You can void the contract, then sign them to a much cheaper deal. You take the risk that another team could sign them, but usually those mid round picks aren't very sought after, so you'd be safe. At least that's been my experience.
