This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! Contract extensions?

First: When can I offer contract extensions?

Secondary: Can I offer extensions to all players, regardless how many years left or is it only for players with 1 year left?

I'm pretty sure that you can sign extensions whenever all throughout the season and even the offseason to most players regardless of whether they have 1 year remaining or 5 years remaining.

Players that you aren't able to sign to extensions are: Rookies, Players signed to 1 Year Deals, Players that were just recently signed to an extension, and ALL Players during the 1st year after an allocation draft.
