This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

When over the limit, when do players get automatically cut and when don't they?

I just went through Training Camp. Prior to it, I had set up to sign 2 running backs when I already had 59 players. My plan was that if I signed both, I would then drop one before my first pre-season game. Unfortunately, I didn't know that it would cause an automatic cut, which turned out to be one of the CB's I drafted.

I swear there was once a time during the previous season that I was over the limit and an auto cut didn't take place. Maybe I'm remembering wrong. But it brings to my question...

When signing or drafting players puts my team over the maximum limit of players, are there times when they don't automatically get cut?

Roster limit is enforced at training camp and at any game stage. All other stages you can go over - so during free agency or any midweek stages you can be over the limit, but you need to make sure you at least go into the TC or game stage with enough cuts to get you under the limit.
