Contract renewals...

In MFN74, where I've made some huge ****-ups in the past before I understood dead cap, I'm now finding myself in a really awkward position. I have about 12 players in final year of contract - most of whom I want to renew. I managed to renew two last night but not the other two. I think this is because my cap for this season is full!!

Total Cap: $145,860,750
Dead Cap: $37,200,878
Room under cap: $120,033
Cap used next year: $110,805,501
Dead cap next year: $20,988,145

Does that mean I'm totally stuck unless I simply start cutting expensive players to allow me to renew these guys like Guillen?

You might be able to sign some of your other players to new deals in order to free up some room.
