This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! new here, a lot of questions for sure. can anybody clarify for me what is dead cap, room under dead cap? thank u. good luck to the teams in the finals

Dead cap .. Money charged against your cap for bonuses. You incur these charges by 1. Trading players that have bonus money left. 2. Releasing players with bonus money left. 3. Retiring players who had bonus money left.

Room under cap is the money you have available to sign players.
