This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

Can I have 54 players ?

Hi,

I have 53 players in my roster. I saw a good free agent, and I would replace a player by him, but I don't want to release my player because if the FA don't accept my contract, I will have to re-sign my player ...

So can I have 54 players during the midweek and release one of them before the game day ? Or am I must to cut my player first, and send the contract to the FA ?

Yes you can, but if you try and sign someone before game week, you are forced to cut.
