This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Going against coaching styles

Anyone have experience going against the style of your coaching staff? Say, for instance, I want to run a 3-4 with a 4-3 defensive coordinator, or be a passing offense with a heavy run offensive coordinator... Does it influence results?

The coaching styles only influence your playbook - and that of your head coach only. In general, you probably won't have much trouble, most of the playbooks are common across all coaches, but there are a select group of plays that change based on the style. The biggest change will happen if you have a 4-3 vs 3-4 head coach, where you'll not have many of the other plays available to you.

The run focused offensive playbook has some of the best short passes if you're building a ball control team. Nothing like passing 70% of the time using something called "run focused"...
