This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Does Anyone Think I Need a New OL Coach?

My team has been ranked near the bottom last season and last this season giving up at least 6 sacks per game. Some of my best linemen have been giving up a ton of sacks. One gave up 32. I moved a couple around to try to make things work better, but eventually moved them back to their original position. Do you think it is the OL Coach? Because the players are good, the coach has a very good 80 rating but lately my OL has been horrible. I'd listen to advice before I fire the OL coach.

First question would be what are the attributes of your OL players. Pass block? Strength? Discipline and intelligence. Acceleration and speed have been the subject of a lot of disccsuion lately.

You need to try and find yourself a QB with some speed. In the current sim the majority of sacks are allowed because the QB cannot get away from the pass rush due to the fact that QBs do not make quick decisions in this game. Get yourself a QB with good speed and scrambling and those sack numbers will plummet.

And to the original question in the subject of needing a new OL coach?

No .. they are figureheads .. they have a very little effect on development.
