This league has just begun! Because this is a new league, it will be a few days before the allocation draft begins (the countdown timer above shows when the first pick will fire). This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

NOTE: As of the last sim, this league was under the minimum 20% capacity. Invite your friends to join MyFootballNow to keep this league alive! Then send them to this league to become the owner of a team! The league will expire at 8/01/2025 8:00 am.

Onside Kick

This was just something I have never seen before so I really dont know what the rule is. The opposing team tried an onside kick and the kick actually went backwards and out of bounds. Instead of my team getting the ball they game allowed a rekick with no penalty or anything. Is this a glitch? I am sure you probably never had this issue before or even had a real game situation to even compare it to.

Wow, that's a weird one, at the very least that shouldn't happen. I'll check to make sure there's a clamp on that kick direction.

Weird.

FYI, looks like there may have been a 5 yard penalty.

Yeah, I think the call was correct if a kicker were to really kick a backwards onside kick. That would be a site to see in real life, especially the conversation with the coach after it happened.

I would think the receiving team would have the option tho of spot of ball or penalty

It's a 5-yard penalty and re kick - http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/kickoff

I think I was expecting the receiving team to have the option as well when I originally researched it.
