This is a great time to get a team as you will be able to build it from scratch! If you don't want to wait for the draft, though, check to see if there is a team in an established league that you can take over.

Over the cap

I'm seeing multiple teams over the salary cap after the first preseason game. Do you not need to be under the cap until the first game of the regular season? If so, that doesn't sound right. I would have thought preseason should be the deadline.

I'd think by 53 (reg season) you have to be under the cap.

Your final cuts can get you below cap.
